<p>Hey all, I am considering transfering to UWash. I went to Swarthmore College last year and although I loved the academics, I am looking to be closer to home (CA) and in a place with more laid-back people who aren’t so absorbed with their acadmic life. </p>
<p>I like the small atmosphere of liberal arts - will the UWash honors program help me find that?</p>
<p>I am interested in two very different areas - cognitive science and epidemiology. I was thinking of focusing on cognitive science in undergrad (something like neurobio) and then go onto do graduate work in epidemiology. Can UWash provide that for me?</p>
<p>How hard is it to transfer to UWash?</p>
<p>Any advice is gladly appriciated. </p>
<p>Am I crazy for giving up a top 5 LAC for UWash? Many seem to think so…</p>
