College list (probable) Grinnell, Hamilton, Berea, Trinity, Carleton. (Am I aiming too high? I got waitlisted and then rejected from Carleton, Trinity, Colby and Middlebury last year).

I am from Bangladesh, and I need a hefty amount of scholarship to afford any uni. I cannot contribute more than 3000 per year so you have the idea. (Kindly also suggest universities/colleges which provide a lot of aid to international students). I’m still pretty naive abt my relative standing, so please advise me abt my chances

Yes, your stats fit. 42% of the accepted applicant pool had scores in you V & M range. :)

I have some questions which may better help others help you. Are you applying to schools because your stats fit or because you are genuinely interested in them? If it is just because of your stats and you’re not a good salesman, from what I’ve heard admission’s reps say themselves, you will get rejected. A lot of kids have good stats (and are cheaper for schools b/c they are from America) so you have to tell the CC community what you want to major in, what kind of political, ethnic, elitist, creative feel you want…what region you’re interested in, on and on.

http://www.edupass.org/finaid/undergraduate.phtml</a> is on point with what you’re looking for. I’m not sure schools on your list that cost 39-47K (books, room & board, fees, travel, tuition) give out the kind of aid you need. You should look into public schools, many are very generous and of course cost less.
