Is Wes a dope-smoker haven as the books say it is?

<p>Between the Fiske Guide and The Insider’s Guide to Colleges, they are, well, not very subtle about the heavy dope smoking that goes on at Wes.</p>

<p>The latter book is quite blunt about it: “The administration… turns a blind eye toward the pervasive drug culture that exists on campus. Students tend to favor marijuana and the psychedelic effects of occasional shroom and acid trips.”</p>

<p>So how close is this description to reality?</p>

<p>Well, you can judge for yourself. Here’s a typical turnout for Zomker Harris Day which is usually one of the first outdoor events of the Spring. If you’re not in this picture, you probably don’t smoke dope, at least not on a regular basis:
