<p>I was browsing Facebook and I saw one of the ads on the right had something about “Apply to Wharton” on it. I’m not kidding.</p>
<p>I doubt it; they could easily fill an outstanding class without the need to advertise on Facebook. Perhaps they are trying to get applications from lesser applicants (who otherwise would not have been interested) to try and lower the admit rate (it’s always a good marketing tactic, after all)…</p>
<p>HBS spends a ton of money on online ads…you think they’re desperate?</p>
