Is what I did technically a business?

<p>Well ok, for a few now I have been building and selling computers to people, helping people with computer problems, and giving ideas to people on what to buy. This wasn’t extremely lucrative, since I didn’t have much more than a word of mouth client base, and I didn’t charge much.</p>

<p>I’m just wondering if that is considered a business, even without a name or goal or anything like that…</p>

<p>This isn’t a real serious question, but I would like to know…</p>

<p>If you plan on listing this on an application it won’t really help. I am assuming you didn’t establish a company or pay the appropriate taxes so it goes as irrelevant as far as others are concerned.</p>
