I am planning on taking the SAT 1 next weekend. Then the ACT, then the Subject Tests, then the ACT and the SAT again.

I started studying not too long ago honestly. I have already taken the SAT once and got 1200, the ACT 23; but under really bad circumstances and hadn’t studied at all. I am extremely sure I can get my SAT scores up to 1400-1500 and better my ACT scores, too.

The question is…is it worth taking a SAT course?

GJZ:
Remember a lot of colleges superscore so you can do your prep strategically.
Essay scores bring up the Writing scaled score faster than the MC section.
So get yourself a strategy on writing the essay- prep on a few characters
-use Spark Notes online (free) - since the readers do not care about the
facts.

Focus on improving your Math and Writing scores on the SAT I.
It is too late to improve your CR score for next week.

You might want to devote at least 5 hours every day and not study on
the Friday before the SAT (more important that you are rested).

Pick up one of the easier well laid out books like PR (not Barrons)
and dilligently work through the tests at the back and read through their
explanations of what you got wrong. Do only the Math and Writing sections
so you can maximize your score.

I say you dont need a course. A course is for the people who are struggling and would love a 600+. But since you’re at that point already, a course will do you no good. I say just get some books and practice yourself

But, the thing is I am going to take the SAT again for a last third time…should I take a prep course for reading SAT course for the third time I take the SAT?

And, I’ll take for granted that the Princeton Review is the best SAT Prep Book?
