Please comment on the plus and cons of this school as compared to boston college, northeastern, nyu and notre dame

My d is admitted to umass but not the other ones yet. Umass is about 25000 all tood…
NYU and Notre Dame are higher ranked as you know but none are worth an unbearable amount of debt. Isenberg is a good school but wait until you have the costs lined up to decide.
I wonder how recruitment from east coast companies compares for those schools…an important part of the puzzle as well.

NYU has east coast companies recruiting but doubt Notre Dame will for most students. BC has not in the past been big in career fairs but certainly ask them. Certainly a ton of connections on the east coast along with NYU. If honors program at UMass, that also makes a difference. I would not pay $45K more for those universities unless you have very deep pockets. You just have to wait for aid packages from them.
