<p>It really depends how social and active you are. I moved to Manhattan in the Upper East Side (about 15 mins by local train from NYU) and so it’s definitely not easy for me to make friends with NYU students unless I go downtown. I joined several clubs and made several friends that way. You just have to make an extra effort in establishing and nourishing friendships.</p>
