<p>As I said, it was my personal theory. Was that not clear? I based it on years of reading about Iran and the knowledge that both Syria and Lebanon are client states.</p>

<p>Referring back to those 75 Questions for Progressives, I ask of you whether America has ever done anything right in your view. I think you also have to remember that the people of Iran are not the Mullahs and their POV is different.</p>

<p>Respect and foster the democratic process in Iran that has now existed for more than 25 years, with political parties - and ruling parties - having greater differences among themselves than has existed in the U.S. since World War II. </p>
<p>Remember that the people of Israel (including the almost 20% who are Arab) are not the same as its government that governs without an adopted constitution, and in which no religious minority has had a significant role (unlike the Palestinians) since its founding.</p>
