Issue Essay question

Hey y’all. So I’m frantically trying to finish my essays. And for my issue essay, I am having a hard time on how to approach it. I chose education reform because I am really excited about and passionate about, but I don’t know how to strike the balance between a research paper and being me. How much should I focus on the actual issue and how much on why it is important to me? Or any other advice for this topic?

if you think about it like a three paragraph paper, you want about a third (or less) on the actual issue) and at least a third on how it impacts you. The essay reader may already know all about the issue so its your job to show them how much it means to you and how it effects you.
hope this helps:)
