Not really, cause I see them all the same. I have the same format on all threads. Do you see this difference across devices (so one way on desktop vs. mobile)?
Look carefully. Some have the user option and some don’t . They were also different on the phone vs computer. Some have the avatars and some don’t.
Why??
I saw your screens, I am saying I cannot replicate it as they all look the same to me (I’m on a Mac).
It is true that on mobile there are no avatars and the views, likes, links, and users are displayed in a smaller font underneath. See screen.
However, it’s all consistent for me on a given device.
That’s an excellent question. There are constant updates pushed by Discourse that have caused numerous issues for our site. I am working out a process that would mitigate this.
I’ll post 4 pictures, but I would suggest you try several different threads and see if they all come up the same to you. They seem to vary across , and it is different on the computer versus the phone.
When you click on users on the phone, the avatars with the # of posts comes up.You don’t get the avatars with the numbers on them on the computer.
I’m seeing them just fine. Have you tried logging out and logging back in?
I can’t mute threads from my iPhone.
Thank you. How would anyone know that!?
Yes, that is correct. I am only seeing that when I click on users on mobile and then screen the list of Frequent Posters in that thread. However, it is consistent for me across a given device.
However what I think the issue that you are reporting may be is that for some threads there is no “users” listing. So you only have views, likes (if any), and links (if any). The thread about the FA for example does not have users listed. I am assuming there needs to be a minimum of X users who participated in that thread for that field to populate.
It’s always been that way.
I guess I never tried to mute something from my phone before.
While I don’t use that feature all that often, I’ve never noticed it to be different across devices nor have I ever noticed it being different between threads. Any chance that could be looked into ? On one of the formats you have to click on each avatar ( if the avatars are there) and it tells you within the individual avatar how many times that person has posted, but that’s requires extra steps rather than just seeing it with all of the avatars at once. It’s a much easier to read that second way (and the way it used to be). When the “users” part is missing the avatars cannot be found.
