IT certifications for admisson (computer science)

<p>Hi everybody !</p>

<p>Can anybody tell me:

  1. How important are IT certifications(MCTS, MCITP etc) for admission(graduate) ?
  2. Can these certifications be somehow like a substitute for subject GRE (computer science), less or more than that?</p>

<p>Nobody cares about IT certifications in graduate school; graduate-level CS work is not really about programming, any more than graduate-level math work is about number crunching.</p>
