<p>Well, we have been waiting for hours here on LBI, but at 7:45pm, it starts. I really hope it isn’t anywhere near what they are forecasting. But we did take some extra precautions outside in case we really get those winds. I even went to an absentee neighbor’s yard and latched their shower door that has been flapping in the breeze recently.</p>
<p>bugmom, I had the pleasure of going to LBI last summer for the first time to meet my daughter’s future in-laws. I think you live in a beautiful place! </p>
<p>I grew up on the ocean, too, but a little further south. I am definitely an ocean person, not a mountain person.</p>

<p>Nothing yet in north Jersey and dang, I cancelled my plans to go out tonight. I’ve also turned in my ticket for Live from the Met in HD for tomorrow.</p>
<p>We only have 1-2 inches right now. It’s a good thing because D2 has a ballet audition in NYC this afternoon. They said it’s on no matter what.</p>
