<p>It takes a village to raise a child. Well, when I was growing up, any parent in the neighborhood who saw any of us misbehaving would call us out on it. We learned that we wouldn’t only accountable to our parents, but to society.</p>

<p>In this linked video, one example of such a moment is documented. The coach caught one of his players cutting the boarding line at Southwest Airlines. He took the time to make this a teachable moment not only for this player, but for all of his players.</p>

<p>Nowadays if you reprimand someone else’s kid, you can be sure his/her parent would call you out on it. More often not, they would tell you that you had no business in speaking to their kid in such a manner.</p>
