<p>I hate how the whole college admissions process makes people do almost everything in part because “it will look good for college.” I really can’t think of many people who would be doing all of what they are doing now (minus good grades and stuff obviously, talking about ECs/hobbies/etc.) if it weren’t “just for college.” I have come to the point where I think “wow, I wish I could cure cancer. that would be such a wicked EC.”</p>
<p>ugh… at least I won’t have to do all that in college. or will I say, “this will look good on my resume?” I’ve read people being presidents of college clubs because it will “look good on their resume.” Is that really like it is in college too?</p>
