I don’t know how long you are going to be in Venice. I used to like to stay out at Venice - Lido, rather than Venice proper. Lido has beautiful beaches. We used to a hotel boat shuttle to venice during the day and then go back to the hotel in the afternoon to enjoy some sun and water.
