I have to use certain prescription eyedrops twice a day. I don’t like them; they sting and burn for a minute. I also have to take a calcium gummie twice a day. I love them; they are exactly like candy – sweet. I had been having the calcium first and then dreading the eyedrops. Now I’ve reversed it – I’ll put in the eyedrops and then eat the gummie at the same time. The pleasure from the gummie blocks out (well, not completely) the discomfort of the eyedrops. And the gummie is the “reward” for inserting the eyedrops.

Don’t know the shipping costs yet. Both offer coupons. One seems better for your photos and the other one seems better for your tapes.
Introduce my kids to more charitable activities and giving.
Drink more water (these new water bottles are helping!)
Eat out less often and eat better/more interesting at home.
Figure out an activity besides walking (or swimming which I hate) that doesn’t kill my back.
Take a beach vacation.
@Midwest67 I use carbonite to back up my laptop. I have restored the settings and data to several new devices over the years with no issues. You can decide what folders you’d like backed up.
I read this thread several days ago. It really got me to thinking.
I thought, I already work out at least 5 days a week. I also, already started trying to watch what I eat and started eating well years ago. Last January I decided to count my steps. I have been doing that and trying for at least a minimum numberbof stes a day for the whole year now. Also, H and I have been traveling on at at least two great trips a year, for the last several years.
So what is left? Maybe drink a little less wine and try to worry less. Maybe they go hand in hand. But I do worry so about some of the kids.
I take the Costco calcium and Vit D gummies. Costco used to have the calcium caramel chews, which were fabulous, but now they “only” have the gummies. They’re literally just like gum drops.
ETA: I started taking these things because all of a sudden I couldn’t swallow the gigantic calcium/Vit D horse pills. I don’t know why – I swallowed them for decades – but one day I just couldn’t get them down, and that was the end of that.
According to my bottle, a serving – which is two gummies – has 1000 IUs of Vit D (250% of required daily amount) and 500 mg of calcium (50%). I take one in the AM and one in the PM, so I’m getting a ton of Vit D and half the recommended amount of calcium. But I also eat a lot of dairy products, so I’m good.
I hate making goals and resolutions, and have finally aged enough to recognize they just don’t work for me.
I have chosen instead to work on one small daily habit which will improve my personal life and my work productivity. I will record daily results and keep focusing on this one habit until it is ingrained into my routine.
At that point I can decide if I want to work on improving in another area of my life. Hoping to minimize the pressure of feeling like I have to take on an additional habit even if I have not fully ingrained the previous habit.
Best of luck to each one attempting to make positive changes!
