H instructed our lawyer to tell them we had no interest in any further discussion and would not agree to change the easement.
Haven’t heard anything further.
Honestly, the more I think about it, the more I wonder at their apparent conviction that we should grant them this for no consideration at all, and that it would have no effect on us at all. Can they really think that? In reality, they should have been mightily relieved that we were willing to consider it at all, and seized upon our request for a mere $5k plus legal costs with alacrity.
