abasket, I agree. I haven’t seen a single episode since it moved.

abasket, mine, too. (Or Say Yes to the Dress when it’s on.) I just set the DVR and watch on Friday anyway.

Say Yes… is still on Fridays. I like that WNTW is now a Tue show - I missed too many episodes last season because DH and I made Fridays our “night out”.

I agree - Erin’s makeover was one of the best shows, and the young lady really deserved some encouragement and a treat after all she’s been through. Was the Professor of Non-verbal Communications a rerun? It was a good one, too! Practice what you preach :)

OK, this is a repeat, but I totally missed it the first time:

I hope they did not make Mindy toss that nice orange Vuitton scarf into the infamous trash can (nless it was a fake)!

Love Say Yes…what did you think of the 60 yr old lady in the see-thru pink tutu gown? Props for body-confidence but for the rest…what has been seen cannot be unseen.

Yikes! I have not seen that one yet. Something to look forward to :

My DH has a coworker who would make a perfect WNTW candidate. That lady constantly surfs funky European clothing websites, yet her outfits are so trashy (and drab looking at the same time!)… Clinton and Stacey would have a field day destroying her wardrobe! Do you know a perfect WNTW candidate?

I saw the 60 year old pink “tutu” lady. Her choice of course, but the whole idea SCREAMED “look at me!!!” That’s great that you are proud of your figure and all, but even 22 year olds can have great figures but style and taste!

Last night was cute with the 35 year old mom - she looked real cute at the end. I think her husband was happy. :)

Yes, I know a great candidate for WNTW. She is petite, a little plump (despite losing weight) or maybe she just looks that way because of what she wears. Nothing fitted, nothing tailored…even her blazers are boxy. She wears only black shoes. She holds a good job, raises kids, works tirelessly for her church, and puts herself way, way, way at the bottom of her list. Her only indulgence is the occasional expensive handbag but even then…black, brown, and black. The only reason I have never written in about her is that she is opposed to wearing make-up of any kind, even to special occasions, so poor Carmindy would have a fight…and she would lose. Of course, that might make for great TV.

I own boots just like those short chuncky heeled ones that Clinton threw away with disgust and wear them all the time. I actually own more up to date ones but they need to go to the repair shop. Hmmm…

Here’s another little bit I’d like to see sometime on WNTW. I want to quickly see the clothes left on the rack that they let them keep. Last night, looked like she had several tops that they let her keep.

^^ Good idea. Call them!

Must be another thread for this somewhere…I’m a terrible searcher on CC…

WNTW was back last night! (Can I please say that Clinton is so funny - I would love to hang out with him!!! When he threw that fit about the woman’s sparkly black dress that not even a 10 year old would wear!!! hahaha)

So what did you think of the blonde 52 year old woman that just could not give in to the changes?? That they offered her her old clothes back??? Wow, she really seemed to have some issues with getting older or making her own choices or SOMETHING! I wish she would have cut her hair a LITTLE bit more.

And not dissing her figure or anything, but I want to know how she managed to dress in the junior department for pants when she had a good bit of middle age “middle” spread!!!

I think there were 2 episodes last night, but I only saw the first one…

I watched the second episode only last night. It was a good one, a younger woman with red hair from Seattle who wore oversized fleece and seemed a little afraid to show off her very nice figure at all. The hair stylist dyed her hair that weird, trendy bright red color and I liked what she had before much better. She found lots of nice clothes and showed them off well, could be a model.

Sorry, but I just do not like Stacy. I think she says catty things and is snotty, and sometimes I want to slap her. I love Clinton. Even when he disapproves of someone’s fashion choices, he still seems kind, or at least just having a humorous approach. His heart is always in the right place.

Huh, that’s odd–the second episode I watched last night was the turtle lady–kind of nutty, but a sweet person and a successful makeover. The fifty something in denial–I think her name was Jody?–should have used the $5000 for some serious therapy. I noticed that in the follow-up interview her hair had reverted to pseudo Farrah Fawcett and she was back to her harsh and unflattering makeup. And I suppose this will sound awful, but she was a very unattractive woman, with or without the makeover, and it was making me crazy that Stacy and Clinton kept insisting that she was “beautiful”. I understand that they were trying to boost her self esteem, but I’m sure the woman knows she’s far from a beauty, and their constant use of that word must have made her think that everything else they said was also malarkey.

Our second episode was the turtle woman also. Didn’t quite finish it last night so anxious to see how she “turned out”! Either they edited the show to make it look/sound like every word coming out of her mouth was turtles or she was EXTREMELY obsessed! That was driving me crazy!

I like both Clinton and Stacey a lot - I think they can both have their moments where they can be blunt. Mostly I’m ok with that. I do sense a little “trying to hard” to be funny in the beginning of these new episodes - don’t really care for the first couple of minutes and the banter between C and S.

One of my favorite shows, another one is “Top Model” when Tyra is not lazy and showing new ones. There are so few to watch, TV is going down the hill, many of my favorite shows are getting cancelled with major blow being Oprah taking over Discovery Health and removing all of my shows with her very boring ones (I was happy that her ratings went down, sweet revenge).

Did anyone watch last weeks episode with 80’s singer Tiffany? Was she really that big a star back then? Cause she still seems full of herself now!!! I thought that whole episode was kind of awkward- the fact that she contacted the producers herself to be on the show yet seemed to not be in tune to what Stacy and Clinton recommended to her.

Saw the first few moments and was turned off by her self nomination (and had never heard of her) so I switched channels. Part of the fun is a person who starts off clueless, not someone looking for attention.

I thought it was just me. I watched the beginning but Tiffany was so obnoxious that I turned it off. I guess the switching roles thing was supposed to be a surprise to start the season but it didn’t work for me either.

I was annoyed when her “excuse” for dressing the way she did (vintage, layers, oversized clothing, etc.) was that she could because she was an “artist” and “celebrity” but that she would never recommend a customer at her store (I think she has a vintage store) to dress that way - because they are not artist and/or celebrities!!!
