It's BACK!! What Not To Wear!

I am so afraid that my kids will nominate ME for this show. I don’t think I am soooo bad, but noone ever does. Love the hosts too. I think it would be more fun than embarassing.

It seemed to me that she self-nominated to bump up her career. Not good.

^^^ I wondered that as well.

Well, that was a disappointing episode. It felt like Stacy and Clinton just phoned it in.

WNTW is back? Worrywart, can you fill us in on what was going on?

Tonight was the first episode of the final season. They made over a set of three friends. Stacy complained throughout the show of being fatigued by the task.

This thread is from January. Is the show back on now!?

Yes, the final season started tonight.

I will miss the show. I wonder how many women think “What would Stacy and Clinton think?” when they shop?

I know I do.

They announced this would be the final season a few months ago - I follow Clinton on social media and he says, "hey everyone, stop whining that the show is ending - 10 years is a good run. - just sit back and enjoy the final season!!)

Interesting trio they made over. The haircut Ted gave the last one was atrocious! She looked like a boy! So proud of her for insisting on a new cut. She did seem to really have some emotional issues. I also thought the dresses she or they chose for both reveals were awful. :(. The one who got her hair darkened looked MUCH better.

10 years is a long time for one concept - I don’t blame Stacey and Clinton for moving on.

Does anyone know when they’ll repeat Friday night’s show? (We all know there will be numerous repeats!!)

I felt badly for the girl who cried, she obviously had health-related body issues (colitis or something that contributed to weight fluctuations) & most of us have had fat clothes and fat times, I would hate to be paraded on TV for a makeover at my worst. I wish they had not shown so much of her crying, it felt intrusive. Once would have been sufficient.

I have to admit they have influence me. I will miss this show. They made me get braver in my choices!

I bought a pair of denim trousers when Nordstrom had their sale. Stacy and Clinton always say that every woman should own a pair.

About the crying girl - I agree that her first haircut was horrible. It was interesting to see her being led off into this little room on the side and there were two people in there waiting for her. Her handlers? The man who held the door looked really angry. I bet he hated her haircut too. It was cute to begin with, why mess with it so much?

I love this show but was disappointed that they tried to make over 3 women instead of focusing on just one. I felt terrible for the poor girl who had the weight issue and cried several times, so I really hope that for the rest of the final season they return to their usual m.o.

I find the show interesting. But in my opinion they do too much hair coloring, even in cases where the normal color looks lovely.

I was so much more a fan of Nick then Ted. Could never warm up to Ted. Also, as a person with lots of curly/wavy hair, I get frustrated that 9 times out of 10 they straighten the curl/wave - is it such a disability!!?

[Nick Arrojo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Nick Arrojo - Wikipedia) I always looked forward to seeing Nick’s creations. Remember the girl w/ dark hair and a bit of blue underneath on the side above the ear? I will miss this show!
