George Washington University vs. U of Virginia last night. Great game. GW’s passing offense was fun to watch. 5 hustlers on the court for GW. No surprise that UVA’s best player nearly saved the day for the Cavaliers. Great to see 5 GW kids from very different backgrounds playing as a unit. GW’s starting 5 include a Dane, an Argentine and a Japanese fellow who can definitely ball.
S2, a GW alum and still living in DC, has season tickets and was at the game. I watched on TV and was happily surprised that GW won.
Both of my teams – Horns and Hoyas – got off to rocky starts.
