congrats! when did you apply? :)

congrats! that makes me feel a little better because my GPA isnt a 4.0 like most people, i really want to get in!

Sept. 19 it says online

I checked today and still nothing, guess I’ll wait until Monday :)

This is what i found out today… i called admissions a little bit ago and i told them that i applied around October 24th and i asked when i should know my final decision? He said that final admissions are given 10-12 weeks after everything was received… so that means for me i applied around October 24th and everything was there by November 1st and 10-12 weeks after that. He said i should know by the end of December or early January is more likely. I hope this helps out everyone and lets just keep our fingers crossed.

@naesken

I’m hoping that means I’m in too, since I had a 3.0 and a 34 ACT. Now if only they’d make the stupid decision so I could stop worrying.

A friend of mine got accepted today to. 3.4UW and 30 ACT.

Im so impatient! I want to know haha

Last year D got deferred then accepted in late April with 3.0 gpa, 29ACT (30 superscored). She was likely waitlisted not only due to gpa but also due to low class rank (50% percentile). I think you should be considering class rank as a criteria as important, if not more important, than gpa. Class rank normalizes across the schools and I think OSU looks at that very carefully. Good luck to you all. D loves OSU and wouldn’t be anywhere else. She is also OOS.

The only bad thing she has experienced is dorms on south campus being freezing cold, windows won’t shut properly, lack of response from maintenance. She will not be staying in dorms next year.

i hope i have a chance then! :)

I’m feeling better and better about this as the days go by… I think we all have a outstanding chance :DD!

can someone chance me pleaseee.

i really get the feeling that there are many kids like me looking at this thread and seeing the stats people have posted, and had their hearts drop. i really need to get into osu, and would really appreciate some responses. thanks-goodluck everyone!

and im from the best public school in CT. well its either 1 or 2. im pretty sure thats a big factor with this

i’m sure you will get in!

You have the same chance as everyone else :)

im sure you will get in!
I hoping to hear back anyday now because it has been a couple days over 12 weeks! Im so nervous, OSU is my dream school!

i kept checking over the weekend hoping it would change. still hasnt. still no letter. but on a much much much darker note, i got into university of michigan.

Congrats! Thats an accomplishment dude. P.S the hate doesn’t start until you decide which school your going to. THEN we can have our fights =)

My son received a postcard today from the Mansfield branch at OSU…could that be a bad sign? His status still says evaluation…

Canmac, honestly if you got in to Michigan you have nothing to worry about ![]()
@mira66 unless he applied there I think it is because of that other branch option for in state students, is he in state?
