Its December 1st!

I dunno they might lol.

OSU doesn’t superscore. They will consider your best same day score.

Well out of 1600 my best score was one sitting, out 2400 it wasn’t.

kindasortasmart, btw, i read your comment about penn state. big state public universities like penn and osu do tend to be harder on oos acceptances i’d day they are probably around the same to get into if your oos, doesnt mean you wont get into osu but im just letting you know they tend to favor in-state students, probably why osu is 85% in state. may i ask why are you like ohio state? i mean i love it i just didnt think anyone not from ohio would like it so much haha

Haha idk its strange actually… I haven’t visited yet (will if i get accepted)… but based off what I hear/researched OSU is basically everything I want in a school… warm community/environment, large campus, awesome athletics, great school (that i actually have a shot to get into!), and its not in NJ lol. I don’t wanna be so local so that adds more interest for me towards OSU.

wll osu is all of that. ive lived in ohio my whole life and theres not a place you can go where i live that doesnt have some kind of osu gear. its crazy how much pride people here have in the buckeyes! it was the first campus i visited and ive only compared everywhere else to there, but i warn its not like your typical college town feel like penn state. and the people there are all chill and fun, great parties trust me. hope you get in and visit, you’ll love it im sure

wow kindasortasmart, I’m actually in the exact same boat, I’m even from NJ too!!

Can someone explain to me the significance of the 12/1 Date though? Was it supposed to be official decision day or something?

Yeah man i really hope i get in too… ill kinda be devastated if i dont… And yeah the only school i’ve visited so far is Maryland, i dont really know how other schools compare to it yet.

Haha eromano… December 1st is the day they officially start releasing admissions decisions I believe… and wow everyone on here is from NJ except for mr Food over here lol. Best of luck to all of us!

it said rolling decisions would be released starting 12/1…but i dont know how they’re doing it. im tempted to call but im sure they’d just say something like you’ll be getting your decision soon. who knows. and kindasortasmart, if you dont get in and still want to go, you can always transfer. thats what i plan on doing if i don’t get in unless i love the college i go to

Yeah… its good though cause i plan on taking a year to study abroad in Israel (a jewish seminary kinda thing) where i take actual college courses from an accredited university and get a transcript— so if i dont get into schools i want i may just reapply as a transfer and send in that transcript.

Just to maybe ease your minds, I’m in state with a 3.0 UW gpa and a 31 act, applied and everything was in Oct. 2nd, and I’ve heard nothing haha. Just like all of you I check 13864 times a day.

Haha, well I guess it does ease my mind to know there are others in the sane boat as me

I keep checking my status! I am oos and dont have the best grades because of my freshman and sophomore year, but OSU is my DREAM SCHOOL! I want to get in more than anything! I keep waiting for it to change to “accepted”!

Yeah same here! Gosh I just wished the statuses were more informative instead of saying evaluation, like penn state says a decision is coming in the next few days. Would make waiting a lot more barable!

i so agree. this “evaluation” thing is making me hate the word evaluation.

im waiting too…Im in state, and got a 27 on ACT (9 on writing) but my gpa (3.1 UW, 3.5W) and my outside of school ECs suck (none). Although I do have cross country, track, band, and full orchestra, as well as 2 good recs and a good essay (in which i sucked up to OSU a lot in), Im still so nervous and im not sure if I’m going to get into to the main campus or not :/

ps, I applied November 7th

Lets create the “I hate evaluation club”

Waiting to hear. I got an e-mail from a recruiter about 10 days ago asking me to apply for the Morrill Scholars Program. Kind of odd considering I’m not a minority. My grades and SAT aren’t that great, just wondering if i had a chance since they asked me to apply for the scholarship?

What are your stats carolina??
