<p>just talked to admissions. they told me online app statuses are updated once a week, but the guy didn’t know what day. from what i have read here, seems like wednesday.</p>
<p>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! lol now I have to wait till wednesday!!! :(</p>

<p>Don’t get too bummed, my d got her acceptance on a Monday(11/15). My only advice is to stop checking so many times in one day. I don’t think they update the website that often. You will just drive yourself crazy.</p>

<p>Her ACT score(26) was not up to Honors level. She is over 4.0(weighted) and she has very good EC’s and volunteer work. She was however invited to apply to the Scholars program. The invitation for Scholars came before her acceptance which I found strange but also as a good sign.</p>

<p>i got admitted on Dec. 1 and i was also invited to the scholars program prior to getting my acceptance notification. i think it all depends on when you submitted your application</p>

<p>UPDATE: Admissions responded to me saying that status updates are made every single day (not once a week), however there is no specific time as statuses are updated as decisions are made. Times for statuses to be updated are Monday through Friday from 8:00am and 5:00pm EST</p>
<p>GOOD NEWS! Though now I will be checking my status every 10 seconds again.</p>
<p>I have a question though. I first put down my major as international business. Though now I think I want to do Operations Management. Both are in the business college. Will the difference of majors effect admission? Or not, being that they are both in the business college?</p>

And as far as i know, major selection does not affect admission to the university at all, or at least thats what the representative said that responded to my email. Either way, if you get in, it should not be a problem to switch majors if they both require similar classes/in the same department.</p>
