It's Great That Garry Shandling Is Still Alive

Except he isn’t.

Bummer.

He recently did Jerry Seinfeld’s show. He was great.

When I die, at the eulogy I want my boxing coach to walk up coffin, and begin: “One! two! three! four! Five! Six! He’s not getting up!”

Sad news. We loved Garry/Larry.

Larry Sanders was such a funny show. In the 90’s H worked on a late night talk show. He thought that Larry Sanders was as real as it was funny.

^^ I hope more people rediscover this fabulous series. Such great writing and acting and so, so funny. RIP Garry.

@dstark, thanks for that link. “I don’t think Einstein bounced it off a crowd.” LOL.

Kind of poignant them talking about death…

@katliamom, yeah… It was an amazing episode. Seinfeld and Shandling talked about real stuff.

I think people forgot the 90’s.

I really enjoyed that episode. They seemed to be great friends.

Very nice. It is almost like there was a forboding of death. Seinfeld was on Daily show within the last month about his new show. Glad to see he got Garry Shandling.

Very poignant. I enjoyed the episode when it first came out. He seemed like a kind and genuine person.

Very interesting that Shandling’s MD has refused to sign the death certificate and a medical inquiry will be conducted because the doc says he was perfectly healthy when he lost saw him a year prior.

Have heard of marathoners who had physicals only to die of massive heart attack during marathons. I think heart attackx can have little to no warning. One of my former employees was a cardiac nurse–very fit, active and vegetarian and had 2 heart attacks by age 40 and is still working as cardiac nurse and doing pretty well.

I heard he had a doctor see him the night before he died. He was feeling poorly and a doctor came to his house.

Thanks, dstark, for the link. Sweet show.
