<p>Daniel Webster College isn’t a household name around here but our son took a course there dual-enrollment when he was 15 so we’re familiar with the school. It used to mainly be an aviation school that grew into a university.</p>

<p>ITT is a for-profit education company and I think that they’re spending about $40 million for the college.</p>

<p>It seems that they’ve had financial problems for a while and maybe the recession tipped them into selling themselves. I’ve never been a fan of ITT though they do provide education services to a lot of people.</p>

<p>I wonder how with will effect the pending ABET certification of the 4/5 year Aero and ME engineering programs.</p>

<p>The ITT name make it kind of hard for a mid or high range kid to apply</p>
