could anyone give me some information about IU Bloomington ? It’s one of the best schools for finance according to USNEWS 2009, but why is the acceptance rate so high ? And what does the campus look like ?

The acceptance rate is high because it’s a state school, but the business school is indeed quite strong. The campus is quite beautiful as well.

Great college town, nice student body, basketball team rebuilding, highly regarded business school, top music school- go for it!!

Kelly (the Business school) is significantly more selective than the overall university. IU is a great university. Fiske gives it an academic ranting of ****. The campus is gorgeous and Bloomington is a quaint, fun and welcoming community. Overall, I cannot think of a better setting for undergraduate education.

thanks for your replies
Is Bloomington a big city, I prefer to live in a small city having sufficient convenience

Bloomington is not big but it is not small. It has a population of 50,000 or so people.

alright so I think IU bloomington will fit me tho. I prefer to live in suburban or city area, but not like too crowded in NYC.
