Child applied EA to IU with a Kelley Major (entrepreneurship and corporate innovation). HS gpa is 3.92 unweighted, 4.56 weighted , SAT superscore 1510. Application is showing complete in the portal. Is this a truly guaranteed direct admit with these stats? What are chances of being offered merit? Any chance decision will be released in December? We are out of state.
Yes, those stats guarantee direct admit (assuming your student attended only one HS.) Your student will first be admitted to IU, then later, Kelley. Some results will start coming out in Dec.
Hopefully others who have recently been admitted can share merit amounts. Is IU affordable without merit?
Yes, my child should qualify since they never changed schools and has over the required stats. We are in FL and it is hard to walk away from our fl prepaid plus 100% bright futures scholarship but from what we understand the program at Kelley would be a much better fit. Hoping for some merit but we could likely make it work. I thought this year Kelley was releasing admissions at the same time as the IU admissions.
