IU Kelley School of Business Standard Admission

My son was admitted pre-business to Kelley Business School. It looks like he can get ‘standard admission’ if he has all Bs at the end of his first year. Are there a lot of pre-business majors?

It looks like there is the possibility of a review if the student does not have all Bs at the end of their second semester. Does Kelley limit the number of students they accept through this review process? e.g. they accept x number standard admission and only have x slots left making the review process competitive. AND wouldn’t a student have to have registered for Fall classes for their sophomore year before the 2nd semester ends?
If they don’t get in, what might they major in?

If they don’t get in, they can major in anything - that’s not restricted l. Many use econ as a business sub but there might be other majors of interest.
It’s a large school.

There was recently a student here who posted they didn’t get in after review.

Why not pursue a university that has direct admission rather than have the stress and panic of keeping grades?

College is a big adjustment. Why add more stress ??
