Curious to know if transfer from CAS to the Engineering school is automatic so long as the student meets the requirements set out on the website or whether there is a competitive element/limited spots on top of those requirements?

Students will be considered twice for the transfer into engineering and if they are rejected a second time, cannot be reconsidered. See pull down menus in this website. I don’t think it matters which college they start from, the process is the same and involves taking engineering classes. Take all the classes that engineering requires to get into engineering. I don’t think it would hurt to get a research project in the college of engineering as well.
