ok look. i do joint enrollment. i take two classes. one is computer science. the other is japanese. im doing really good in japanese. but i cant understand my computer science teacher so im skipping class and i think im failing now. i want to transfer my japanese credits to syracuse bcuz i plan on minoring in japanese and i dont want to take the class over again.

will i just have to send the whole transcript? if so, will they see my computer science grades and revoke my admission?

or is there a way i can only transfer certain credits. like…i only want cuse to see my japenese grade and not my computer science grade?

well im pretty certain you have to send your whole transcript…not sure about transferring certain credits cos I do A-levels and have no idea how that’s going to convert although they say it will. I completely know what you mean by senioritus though, i think literally every one of my friends, like me has been slacking off in recent months…but then i guess putting in the work to make sure i get into uni is sort of worth it…ok a lot worth it!!

I’m not sure if theyd revoke your admission, although one of the conditions was to keep consistent with your grades. Are you sure your failing? Maybe try talking to your teacher it might help. Oh and believe me the amount of classes I’ve been dying to skip…but in the end I guess u just need to think about whether sticking it out in class and trying to get the grades is better or just giving up completely. Theres a guy in my year who’s a complete moron…slacked off, started smoking pot like every day, skipped every lesson and was basically failing a-levels. Trouble was, he really is genuinely bright…just didn’t realise that getting into NYU ED wasn’t gonna come without the work. Well…eventually he dropped out to become a diving instructor…weirdo.

Ok so anyway now that I’ve completely gone off my point - just dont worry and maybe rethink skipping class

Come on Melosyracuse - It’s the ninth inning and you are up to bat!!! Or you are almost at the finish line so make it to the end. Take your pick of my attempts at imagery. We all have this senioritus stuff but gotta get to the end without screwing up too bad. Yes, they want the whole transcript. So one foot in front of the other- march to class like all of us and make that home run. Geez, I crack myself up but at least it makes my point!!!

Not looking good for Syracuse as others gave me more $$. Just a little hard to kiss Newhouse goodbye. It’s going to have to be a last minute decision. My brain is fried just from all the thinking thinking thinking…

I’m going for sure. I went up last weekend and liked it more than any other school I visited… add full tuition(tuition exchange + founders scholarship) and, well, it just makes sense.

I live farther than you do! AHA! (Daytona Beach, FL)

Campus is amazing, tons of old buildings, really looks like a classic old college campus. Its bigger than most schools, but its not huge by any means, and most of the actual academic areas are very close together, the dorms are a bit farther, but nothing too bad at all.

I’m majoring in architecture, so I’m in one of the only programs where I will be spending almost all my time far away from the campus, which is too bad because it really is amazing.
