Why didn’t god bother to create Earth like Heaven?

Fine, im stupid. im going to be. this argument is futile. Im not abdicating or admitting youre right im simply leaving because you are beyond reason. youll never ever listen to me even if this lasted a billion years. Signing out.

it’s impossible to do justice to heaven by trying to describe it. there are many religious people who have been diagnosed as dead for a short time and gotten a glimpse of heaven but then are resuscitated and come back to life. they all say that words can not describe what they experienced.

A simple note of encouragement turned into a religious debate!

Quitters, if Jesus quitted christians wouldn’t be able to go to heaven.

murder is a sin against another man…not believing in God is a sin against the one who created the entire universe. thus it makes sense that a murderer who believes can get into heaven, while one who does not cannot.

Adam and Eve messed up and were banished to an unperfect life on Earth…

lol i wasnt specifically hating on the ramayan or hinduism gods. i was just trying to point out that i’m not just attacking christianity, but i think all religion is bs. now, it may be true that all religion, (maybe especially hinduism), promotes a better way of life and promotes good-natured people, but then again, there leads to another problem with god. good and bad are subjective and I see not how he can choose what’s good or bad or even know or how he decides.

shut up hoodhopper, just go die

mcgruff, there was an episode of house where he called those white lights and hallucinations a result of chemical imbalances.
science rules! :)

God didnt make Earth as heaven because then there would be no purpose to living. Earth being imperfect is a way to test people’s motivation to do good and the existence of heaven is that motivation

Chemical imbalance or LSD…take your pick.

“banking on a second chance after death is a rly stupid idea when u dont know whats happening afterwards.”

paro its not a second chance. you get what you deserve. the idea of karma is that if you do good deeds in this life then you will be rewarded. if you are bad and go around killing people then you will be a fish in your next life. the reason people believe in heaven is because they want something to look forward to after they die. there is no such thing as heaven or hell in hinduism. all reincarnation/karma means is that your actions will determine your concequences

good argument, jyankees

I hate christians!

Qwilde theres no point in staying Jyankees has resorted to petty insults.

murder is a sin against another man…not believing in God is a sin against the one who created the entire universe. thus it makes sense that a murderer who believes can get into heaven, while one who does not cannot.

I thought people are emobdiments, or creations, of God so isn’t committing an act against a person committing an act against God?

lol, why not have a fair playing field…evil people who believe in god can get in to this ‘heaven’ but good people who dont cant. it’s ridiculous. conspiracy. i’m calling j r tolkien…damnit he died…well off to worship Gandalf again…

God didnt make Earth as heaven because then there would be no purpose to living. Earth being imperfect is a way to test people’s motivation to do good and the existence of heaven is that motivation

I thought you said it doesn’t matter if people do good, as long as they believe.

^ya what about those people who murder because they think god told them to
