"Ivies" of New York?

I know there are Columbia and Cornell, but anyone know other then those Universities, any other that is considered that?

I know there is a NYU, but it's a bit too expensive, and hearing people say how bad they at helping there students financially, turns me off from them.

those are the only two ivies in new york.

if you want other good schools in new york, consider colgate nyu fordham west point vassar

^ I meant Ivie type school (Meaning, a very good school academically/prestigiously) in New York which is not exactly an Ivy. But thanks for the list. That is what I meant.

But West Point is definitely not on my list.

Colgate, Hamilton, NYU, Vassar, Cooper Union, Sarah Lawrence, RPI, University of Rochester all seem applicable here.

Would SUNY Geneseo count?

^ what my teacher, a Haverford alum, likes to call "quietly prestigious."
