"Ivy Fever" caused by Ignorance or Entitlement?

How about by height?

@saillakeerie just as long as we don’t do it by weight!!!

Depends which way the measurement goes, doesn’t it? Is more better or worse?

@saillakeerie - As a 6’ tall woman, I would love validation measured in height if “more is more” - it would justify a lifetime of frustration during pants shopping

Height is one area where I’m content despite the fact I’m only slight above average in my extended family at a smidgen under 6’. If we include in-laws…one is nearly 7’.

Also, one of my best HS buddies is 6’4" and reached it before our sophomore year. After seeing him bumping his head for forgetting to duck when entering/exiting subway/bus doors, overhead poles, etc…glad I’m not THAT tall.

No Caddyshack fans?

Saw it looong time ago. Really identified with and was cheering on that gopher.

How do you measure yourself against other golfers?

It appears that there is a scientific explanation for “ivy fever”.

Apparently, fever is one of the common symptoms of toxicosis induced by ingesting ivy-related material.

Another common symptom is gastrointestinal upset.

I suspect that this explains some of the ivy-related posts on CC.
