Whst should I do in High School to have a good chance in getting into an Ivy Leauge schools (Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell). I also have interest in UVA, UCF, Georgetown, and NYU. How well should I do in High School?
To have a good chance, you need to work on your jump shot. Seriously, don’t do things for college. Do your best and then find colleges that fit your best.
take some growth hormone to reach 7feet tall. 17% of all American men 7 feet or taller have played in the NBA. So if you get a 30 on your ACT and are 7 feet tall your in! (or be in the top 100 nationally for your sport and get a 30 on the ACT).
alternatively study up for the PSAT (my kids never did this and I really don’t recommend it) - but a huge percentage of national merit recipients end up in Ivy league schools. It’s something the Admin’s can quantify and brag about.
Or create an App that’s top 10 on iTunes, or win an olympic medal like the snowboarding chick who got into princeton, even as an Asian.
Or have Jeff Bezos adopt you.
Otherwise , just have fun and do your best , and push yourself in things you truly enjoy.
