What else should I do to increase my chances?? Please help:)

  1. Increase your leadership roles in the clubs you are in (Programming Club and Dance Team.)
  2. Your girl in STEM hook will help, but you need to raise the UW GPA.
  3. are your apps published in the app store? If not, publish them immediately. This is impressive.
  4. are you an URM? If so, you're basically a shoo-in with your incredible accomplishments.
  5. Don't retake the 1530 SAT. It's not worth the time since this is an excellent score-the only weakness I see is your lack of leadership positions in CS extracurriculars (which i'm assuming that you're going to major in.) I'm not an admissions officer, but common sense tells me that a 1530 student with leadership presidencies is a lot more attractive than a 1550 with none.

You have a good shot, but Comp Science is most competitive major at some of those schools. I think you should just focus on keeping grades up and getting more leadership roles in EC or win competitions of some sort against other qualified applicants. MIT think would be good to go for, also try apply to PA governor school of the sciences before February 10th I think. It is a summer program at Carnegie Mellon. Don’t take the SAT again either, a 1530 is great and getting higher is going to be hard and have little reward because a 20-40 extra points isn’t going to raise your chances.

You have a decent shot at some of the lower Ivies like Cornell, Brown, and Dartmouth. The other ivies will be difficult, but it depends on essays and other intangibles.
