Have any of you guys ever heard of someone getting into the ivy league with a 1420 ?
For Dartmouth students who enrolled in 2018, the middle 50% range for SAT is 1420-1560. Which means that 25% of all enrolled students (who submitted SAT) have a score of 1420 or below.

By the way, the national average score for SAT is around 1060. A score of 1420 is WELL above average.
Just to nitpick semantics, a 1420 isn’t an average score. The average SAT score is between 1050-1060. I know for the ivy leagues that is preposterous, and probably for CC users as a whole, but a 1420 is solidly upwards of the 90th percentile nationally. Just for perspective.

Yes. So we have a definitive answer. Nothing else to say.
2/ “IVY LEAGUE CHANCES WITH AN AVERAGE SAT SCORE”
Clickbait header. As pointed out, 1420 is not “average.”
