Ivy League Distribution Last Year?

Out of curiousity, how many people got accepted to Ivy Leagues last year from your school, and to which ones?

My school for class of '06

2 to Cornell
1 to Yale (Football, but he chose not to go)

Apply/Admit/Enroll

Brown - 22/5/1
Columbia - 25/2/2
Cornell - 55/14/5
Dartmouth - 16/3/2
Harvard - 11/0/0
Princeton - 15/1/0
UPenn - 40/3/2
Yale - 19/0/0

Class of 2006 was one of our worser years.

like usual, 30% of the class matriculated at ivies

APPLY: ADMIT: ENROLL:

2007

Yale 1/0/0
Brown 1/0/0

2006
Harvard 0/0/0
Yale 0/0/0
MIT 0/0/0
Dartmouth 0/0/0
Cornell 0/0/0
UPenn 0/0/0
Princeton 0/0/0
Brown 0/0/0

YAY

2005
Harvard 1/0/0
Dartmouth 1/0/0

2004
Cornell 1/1/1

LMAO? is it a joke?

how about putting down at least the state your school is in, if you are not comfortable putting the name of the school…

This is only of people I know of, so it doesn’t necessarily include all of whome applied and were admitted, only those I know of.

Apply/Admit/Deferred (after ED round)
Brown–Don’t know of any
Harvard–3/2/1
Cornell–4/3/1
Yale–4/0/4
UPenn–2/1/0
Dartmouth–1/0/0
Columbia–2/1/1

and then, not Ivy, but still selective:
Stanford–1/0/0
Georgetown–1/0/1
Swarthmore–1/1/1
NYU–2/2/0

Clarkstown School District Rockland County, I’m not specifying whether North or South H.S.

edit: this is this year, from ED round, idk about last year

Apply/Admit/Deferred (My School’s ED/EA Round, from what I know)

Brown: 0/0/0
Harvard:3/0/3
Cornell:2/1/1
Yale:0/0/0
UPenn:7/2/3
Dartmouth: 1/0/0
Columbia:2/0/1
Princeton:1/0/1

Not Ivy, but still selective:

Stanford: 1/0/1
Georgetown: 1/0/1
NYU: 3/3/0
MIT: 6/1/4
Duke: 1/1/0
UChicago: 3/1/2

Kryptonsa36: I don’t understand how 28 were accepted but only 12 enrolled? Was this because those 12 were accepted at multiple Ivies? Usually (not always, I know) when someone is accepted at an Ivy, they’ll go there.

Maybe some of the same applicants for one ivy applied to another ivy

Wish my school posted stats…

Apply/Admit

Brown:22/5
Harvard:18/3
Cornell:36/11
Yale:7/2
UPenn:8/0
Columbia:11/2
There’s no data for Dartmouth and Princeton.

My HS - Long Island NY.

Class of 2006 - 19 accepted to Ivies.
Class size - 390.
Most of these acceptances were recruited athletes.

These 19 attended:

Brown - 2
Columbia - 5
Cornell - 4
Dartmouth - 1
Harvard - 1
Princeton - 1
UPenn - 3
Yale - 2

how do you guys find these stats? we get a list of seniors who are attending a particular college at the end of the year, but not applications or acceptances.

Mercersburg Academy
Class size - 110
Total school size - 445
Asterisk (*) means recruited athlete.

School | Apply | Admit | Enroll |

Harvard U. 4 0 0
Yale U. 0 0 0
Princeton U. 3 2 2
U. Penn. 4 0 0
Columbia U. 1 0 0
Cornell U. 2 1 1*
Dartmouth U. 2 0 0
Brown U. 3 1 1

This wasn’t a particularly great year for us, last year we got people into Yale, Columbia, Cornell, and U. Penn. However, we did two people into Princeton (including me), and one into Brown.

out of like 40/45ish students 2 went to cornell which is pretty good because we’re a small town/not too competitive school

pub skool

10% to ivies

couple for harvard
few for yale
few for princeton
few for upenn
one for dartmouth
few for columbia
some for brown and cornell

One girl got into Brown PLME last year.

one girl got into harvard, and one guy got into stanford. (last year)

so far no one has gotten into any of those selective schools, although a bunch have gotten deferred.

one is going to rice as a recruited athlete.

whats the point of these posts? they don’t help anyone if the average class size, location, and NAME of the school are missing.

Accepted/Admitted/Matriculated

Harvard 9/3/3
Brown 18/4/3
Yale 9/0/0
Princeton 3/0/0
Penn 7/0/0
Dartmouth 7/0/0
Columbia 10/3/1 1 also in barnard but not really the same
Cornell 21/1/1 yes this is a little ridiculous, the year before that they took 8 of 18

class size 449
