What ivy colleges have a good acceptance rate for computer science undergrad for international students?
please comment only if you are sure.
The ivy league schools do not accept students by major and none has a high acceptance rate for international students.
Ivy league colleges don’t really admit students specifically by major. Even if they have approximate quotas, I doubt anyone outside the admissions office would know them
Generally speaking, Harvard, Yale and Princeton are the most selective colleges, especially for international students because their financial aid policies are equally generous regardless of citizenship. The other ivies (Columbia, Penn, Cornell, Brown and Dartmouth) are marginally easier to get in but are still highly selective. If you are applying for significant financial aid however this may put you at a slight disadvantage at these colleges.
If my memory serves me correct, Cornell takes far more international students than all the others. Then, with a gap, followed by Columbia and Penn.
Refer back to the list of schools on your “chance me” post. That’s a much more realistic list.
“SAT = 1310, ACT = 28”
You’re simply not competitive whatsoever for schools with selectivity levels such as the eight Ivy schools based on your scoring alone – plus your being an international applicant reduces your chances further.
@T26E4 How do you think i fare according to the other university list i put up?
