<p>Most of us here could probably teach that class.</p>

<p>I like both that class and “Uncreative Writing.” </p>
<p>Hey, I know about that guy–my daughter was at the White House poetry event where he read, and she said that he was really cool and interesting. Some of his poetry is really more like performance art.</p>

<p>If I was paying for Ivy League and my kid enrolled in this class ( I know it’s super selective, hahahaha) I would be pissed. :/</p>

<p>Plus, this is a creative writing class. It just happens to have a particular angle to it. (with a lot of high-level background reading.)</p>
<p>That awkward moment when you laugh at a silly onion article then realize you’re on CC, not the onion…</p>
<p>I once took a course on social media in business development and marketing. The interesting thing is that everyone and their mothership is trying hard to build up their social media presence, yet the jury is still out on what the real returns from each $ invested in social media presence are. There are tons of companies that offer some sort of metrics, but the field is still evolving. One thing for sure, the course was quite a waste of my time on the web! :)</p>
<p>From the description linked above, the class actually sounds very intellectually stimulating. </p>
<p>I know enough about this guy to know that his classes are grounded in real and relevant theory (relevant in his field), his provocative course titles notwithstanding.</p>
<p>I’d be delighted if my kid took this class.</p>
