Ivy League with a low GPA

Is it worth wasting application money to apply for Ivy League schools with a 3.2 GPA(rigorous courses and ECS)? Are there people of a lower GPA who got accepted before?

According to CDS data available for students who submit GPAs to Harvard, Princeton, and UPenn, about 1%-2% of them enter with GPAs < 3.25 on a 4.0 scale (i.e. unweighted). The other Ivies don’t seem to be posting GPA distribution numbers in their recent CDS files.

One should assume that those applicants are very heavily hooked, not just a run-of-the-mill URM hook… If that does not apply in you case, acceptance is a long-shot.
