Ivy League Worthy?

I am involved in sports, clubs, and I have all A’s in challenging AP classes. However, I am worried that I will get rejected from good schools because I have taken some art classes and my test scores are good, but not amazing:( Do I even have a chance? Do any of you have test prep tips?

Thanks.

You will have to give more detailed stats for people on CC to chance you. What is your unweighted or weighted GPA? What is your test score? Which test did you take (SAT or ACT)? What are the specific extracurriculars you are involved in? Do you have any leadership positions?

As for test prep tips, speaking for myself personally I scored a 2210 on the old SAT (770 CR/760 W/680M) and used no tutoring. I bought a few test prep books from Barron’s and Princeton Review and just did a bunch of practice tests. I also paid the fee to get the test booklet back the first two tests I took, so I could see what I did wrong on the actual SAT. For me, because I was disciplined enough to devote 3-4 hours a week to prepping, that led to a decent score.
If you are worried about being disciplined, a tutor might be a good investment.

typical ivy scores as per my GC:

GPA UW: 3.85-4.0
GPA W: 4.2-5.0
SAT: 2200-2400 (1480-1600 I think)
ACT: 34-36

Personally, I applied to 4 Ivy’s with these stats. Have yet to hear back.

GPA UW: 4.0
GPA W: 4.6
ACT: 35

I would reccomend the Princeton Review ACT book. It was the only prep I needed to get a good score. 10/10 reccomend
