What possesses people to do such stupid things? I feel sorry for his family. They have probably been dreading this day since he was 15. I hope some of the kids who watch this stuff see that it isn’t all just fun and games.

That’s so sad.

no. everyone on facebook and twitter, in fact, is idolizing him for “living life to the fullest.”

I am not sure how only using 34 of your years is living life to the fullest…and really, swimming in a cesspool? Did the rest of us really miss something in our pitiful lives by skipping that type of adventure?

He is a jackass for taking his passenger to their death with him.

Ryan probably experienced more of life, and had more fun doing so, in 34 years, than most of you will have in a 70+ year lifespan. Ryan enjoyed the life he lived, and should be remembered for his good times.

Sounds like something a kid would say to justify ridiculous behavior. There is no way at 34 he lived a “full” life not matter how much crazy crap (literally) he crammed into that short time. I am not saying that it isn’t sad that two people lost their lives and that their friends and family don’t deserve sympathy, or that he didn’t enjoy himself, but killing yourself drunk driving and taking his passenger and potentially other people on the road with him on his “adventures” is not the kind of living I aspire to. It is taking his and other peoples life for granted and that is not something that I would remember someone for fondly.

Drunk driving is dumb and tragic, yes-but like I said, Dunn lived life to the fullest and should be remembered fondly for this. How many of you will achieve his fame? He is an awesome guy even if he made one horrible mistake that cost him his life.

He died doing something foolish. My heart goes out to his family, but also his “BEST FRIEND” Bam Margera- he took the life of Bam’s mother too.

What does being famous have to do with living life to the fullest?

Seriously, I have nothing against a zest for living, making each day count, etc., but simply being famous is not evidence of same.

Seemed like a nice enough guy. I heard him interviewed on WMMR this last week and then saw him sat or sunday on some show where he again seemed like a normal, likeable guy.

He might not have been legally too drunk to drive but obviously was going too fast in his car. Horrible accident and I am sure he would love those few minutes back. A few yrs ago readers digest named rt 322 as one of the 7 deadliest roads in America so he has much company.

April Margera actually brokee the story of fhis death… so she was not the second death.

We all do make big mistakes. Most of us get away with them. A few of us don’t. God Bless those he left behind.

Rumors all around—people are saying she was the second death. My apologies

How can you say he made only one horrible mistake? He died flaunting a reckless disregard for safety which is exactly how he lived. I’m not a bit surprised to hear he was a drunk driver, he didn’t think rules applied to him.

Out of the mouths of babes, sometimes comes madness.

"Dunn also starred in the yet-to-be-released film “Living Will.” The film’s website describes Dunn’s character as a “party bum slacker (who) returns from the dead as a mischievous and perverted ghost.” "

This is kind of eerie…I wonder when they will release this movie?

^^Oh boy.

He got away many times. It’s not like this is his first. He was known for fast driving. They think he was driving in triple digits. Not saying it’s unknown in a porche, or he deserved it. Just that it wasn’t a bad luck that got him.

[Ebert has Facebook page taken down after Dunn comments - chicagotribune.com](<a href=“Chicago Entertainment - Chicago Tribune”>http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/chi-roger-ebert-facebook-ryan-dunn-20110621,0,2974428.story)

Interesting.

Ebert is correct, but it was too soon. Poor judgment on his part.

Yes, he should be remembered for his good times. Unfortunately, he will now be remembered for killing himself and a friend.

Let’s see…live and have fun for 34 years and end up killing a friend, or live 70+ years and have kids think my life is boring…what to do, what to do…

Well, apparently Ryan Dunn was very drunk and driving insanely fast.

How very sad for his family, and for the loved ones of his passenger.
