uhhh so I accidentally submitted my app without my answer about why I chose the three research interestsā¦ Since the deadline isnāt over yet, can I still email it to someone? If so, who? please help Iām really worried 
@anonymous522083 There is no best location. I personally preferred Bar Harbor because I wanted to live in Highseas and be in Acadia National Park (and thatās where the mentors I wanted to work with were located), but there are people who would prefer a more urban environment, which I believe is more like the Connecticut lab.
@stressedwhale Sorry, but I would rather not reveal my āstatsā because I donāt think that itās productive. SSP reads holistically and doesnāt require test scores (if my memory is correct), so the more quantitative variables like GPA are read in context. If you go through other threads, you can find what other accepted SSPers have posted, however, donāt let that discourage you since it definitely varies person-to-person. Activities-wise, I had done both wet-lab research and worked on independent projects that were related to what I wanted to do research on. I also spent a lot of time on my essays and they were very authentic to who I was. I think I got in more-so because of my research and essays, and my grades were just used to make sure I had the academic background to succeed in the program.

@sciencegal123 is there a chance that an applicant may be assigned to a mentor who is not the 3 that they indicated on the app, but still related to their interested research areas?
@Anonymousia Yes, I know a few people that got a mentor that they hadnāt ranked, but they all had really great experiences in their respective labs.
So I know the grace period lasts until the 9th but my teacher says she hasnāt received the email and now that I submitted the app it doesnāt give me the option to resend the request form. Should I just ask her to check again or email the program manager?

Cholo, You can email the recommendation and they will attach it with the application. I had the same issue. I hope you were able to resolve it already, if not you can still try it on Monday. Also call Mr. McKernan for help.
Is it possible to add more to an application after winning awards after the application deadline?
i didnt see that high schoolers can only apply to the bar harbor location so I put my preferred mentors as those from the farmington location. do you think they will still send my application to the bar harbor professors for consideration?
