Do they send you an email if you’re rejected also?
from what ive heard, acceptances are sent out in batches, while all the rejection emails are sent out at the end of the month
Does anyone know how a teacher can directly submit a recommendation? I feel like its kind of awkward if you get to see your teacher’s recommendation and submit it yourself

I got a confirmation email saying my recommendation was received today when I already got 2 confirmation emails before Feb. 9th. Should I call to make sure my application is being considered? I’m confused/scared.

I hope they aren’t doing it alphabetically. My name is pretty early in the alphabet and I haven’t heard anything yet.
I think that it is they send out acceptances alphabetically. All rejections are sent out at the end of the month
Unless someone received a statement directly from one of the program coordinators, I don’t think there is any certainty
Hey!! Has anyone heard back yet?
Hey all. I was notified of my acceptance earlier this month. (Around the first?) I don’t necessarily think they’re doing it based on names, although mine comes near the beginning of the alphabet. It might be based on how quickly people are chosen by the faculty who they put down as their preferred mentors. I would guess that if they are chosen early, by their first choice mentor, then maybe they are accepted early? That is based on my assumption of how the selection works, which is that they probably give the applications to the mentors to choose students they would like to work with. (That may not be true, just a guess.) Either way, they did say you could be notified by the end of March, right? So there’s still hope! Happy to share my stats if anyone is curious.
I’m super excited for the program! Summer in Bar Harbor should be a blast!

The vast majority of applicants probably won’t hear anything until Thursday or Friday.
