I was admitted as a Jacobs Scholar, and I think it would be cool for all of us to post here with our basic info and possibly plans. I’ll start.
I’m a CS Major, eventually gonna go into software eng, and will probably end up choosing between UCSD and places like berkeley, stanford, carnegie mellon, and the like. As money is a major issue, UCSD is looking the best right now.

Did you ever have any prior experience/knowledge in computer science?? How hard is it??
i’m planning to become a software engineer too! (:

How hard is to became a Jacobs Scholar.
Could you tell us your stats.

thebugbug, how do you know? how do you check?

IDK, still in high school so I don’t know how hard the major is. But I do know a little programming. I recommend you start now, if you already haven’t. Python is a good place to start. GPA 3.9+, SAT 2300+. They sent a package in the mail. Really? No other ones have logged on?
