My daughter received an email but it was also in the portal.
Received e-mail that preliminary financial aid award is available in the applicant portal, but it’s not there. Anyone else having this issue?

We got the letter - but it didn’t show up until hours after the emails. (My kid got an email at 8:45pm and I got one at 10pm. At 10pm there was no letter - but there is now, at 11pm.
Congrats to all who received aid! My kid got … $0.00. But I realized last week that we were supposed to submit that form in the scholarship hub, and I missed it (I swear I did this with my older kid as well. It wasn’t clear from the financial aid instructions that scholarship hub was mandatory for all direct merit aid - I thought it was just a source of external scholarships.) No biggie for us, since my kid had already decided on another school - but irritating nonetheless.

Finally able to access the letter, and $0 scholarships. We didn’t expect anything really, but was hoping possibly for a departmental scholarship. But, it just doesn’t make sense for her at full OOS cost vs. in-state at Penn State.
Congrats to all that made it in. Our daughter really loved her visit last year and enjoyed meeting staff and students from the CSD department.
We got an email alterting us to the award; it included a link to the message in the portal. It would have been hard to find it by just going to the portal as it was buried behind several ‘clicks’. Their system is very outdated!

Does anyone have any experience with LLCs? My child is not yet committed but is considering joining an LLC if he commits. Wasn’t sure if it has been a positive experience for others?
