I think it would be unlikely to hear anything today because the university is closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

About 2 weeks ago my schools college counselor called JMU admissions and they said it was going to be released on the 15th.
I’m so nervous😭 I just want to know if we will be told today or tomorrow.
Most likely tomorrow. It seems like they like to release on a Tuesday or Thursday. And today is a holiday, so they are closed. And they usually release earlier in the day, so if it was today, typically we would have results.
Check your portal tomorrow around 11:30 am.
Folks, to repeat the message from halfway up this thread, JMU’s admissions page last week subtly changed the announcement date from “mid-January” to “mid/late-January”.
I’m personally expecting some random day in the next 16 days, and would be quite surprised if it was tomorrow.

MLK Day means offices are closed in observance of an important holiday.
I don’t understand why they can’t just tell us a day, many other colleges will have the date provided for the students

My son has 4 acceptances thus far and not a single one has told us the date. I feel like Ive needed anxiety pills for months now with still at least another 6 weeks to go…
