If you are deferred in EA, does anyone know when RD is released?
The website says mid-late March for RD.
Just saw in a Reddit thread that JMU students got an email today say, ‘first round of admissions decisions for fall 2025 from a record applicant pool of more than 44,000 potential students.’
Edit: Just saw in a Reddit thread that JMU students got an email today say, ‘This week, we will release the first round of admissions decisions for fall 2025 from a record applicant pool of more than 44,000 potential students.’
That’s another record year for JMU applications.
2021: 22,603
2022: 32,252
2023: 37,613
2024: 40,232
2025: 44,000+
JMU’s popularity among new students continues to soar - JMU.
yes, my current duke got the email with that
Does anyone know what exactly JMU’s EA acceptance rate is? I can not find anything on there website
according to AI it is 78% which is also their overall acceptance rate
30% EA, 78% overall.
JMU just posted a teaser story on IG!
Which account?
it’s on the main JMU account
Main @jamesmadisonuniversity account
Does this mean they will be released today or tomorrow?
Good luck everyone! I hope your students get the news they’re hoping for.
i think tmr
I hope so! I’m thinking tomorrow since they usually do Tues or Thurs. But it is after 3 PM so…
I don’t see the post on IG. Can anyone share a screenshot please?
I feel like that 78% has to be way down by now. That was based off of earlier numbers with applicants in the 30,000’s. For 2023-2024 they got 40K applicants and 27K acceptances which is 70% right? With 44K applicants, isn’t that a 62% acceptance rate? Gulp!
