So I was invited to be a James Scholar and I assumed it would come with scholarship aid, but I got the exact same amount of scholarship money as someone I know who was not invited to be a James Scholar. Is this normal? Is there anyway I could get more merit based scholarships through UIUC?
Yeah, it’s normal. James Scholar doesn’t mean anything in terms of grants.
